A fan fic about Pulverulentus Siccus being an English pirate stranded among other pirates on an island leading to Telmar. Nicknamed Dry-as-Dust by other pirates he translated this (roughly, more literally meaning Dusty Dry) as Pulverulentus Siccus when signing his Latin grammar on paper bought from Seven Isles. He visited Narnia.

He also was shocked when Fauns started using names backwards. One mistook the name of Fall for a proper name in the vocative : Autumnus > "Oh Tumnus" (which would lead up to a later young faun being called so), another was sure that Oh Lawrence (which Dusty Dry called a pirate) was really "Ol' Orruns" (which would lead up to another faun being called so, even later). He exclaimed : "You can't trust fauns - they will say anything, as far as usage of words is concerned. No use sending them to school either!" And we know how both parts of this remark were turned backwards by Jadis, later (by a bit more than a hundred years).

Finally, one may remark that in Telmar and after teaching his wife Latin (unlike the other pirates, he insisted on communicating with her before ... you know) their sons had Latin names : Caspianus (since he had ancestors from Caspian Sea), Tyrianus (similar reason) and Realianus (pronounced with British Latin pronunciation as Reelianus) - who became the king and chief nobles of next generation of telmarines, since they married the pirate captain's daughters.

Also, if he was somewhat Jewish, that might explain (unless it was Frank and Helen who were so) why about a bit more than hundred years later Mrs Beaver thought Lilith was "Adam's first wife", which is not true.

I'd liek to read a full length fan fic!
