@Ariel: Well, Bilbo, of course, and Thorin, I guess. I noticed the animosity between him and Elrond (and Thranduil to a smaller degree) wasn't as prominent as in the movies. And I do miss Tauriel and Legolas. 😆 (Now I'm at...argh...I think Smaug was about to attack Laketown when I went to bed.)

Edit* Now done with The Hobbit and starting FotR.

Even if I was reading it for the first time, I couldn't read it that fast! I'm impressed. 😛 *is a verrrrry slow reader*
