@Jaygee: I didn't either until I wanted a set simply because Aragorn rocks them. And then I wore them and was surprised to find that they kept my hands (which would then lead to keeping my fingers) warm while giving me full use of my fingers and the nerves therein, like gyps said. 🙂
@gyps: I still need to get my hands on a pair of leather ones (again, Aragorn 🙄 ), but for now, I've got two pairs I bought in England. Both are knitted; the ones I'm using now are brown and very simple and just have one big hole for the four fingers; the other pair are a sparkly dark blue with a bit of cable-knit action going on and an ivory flower button in the middle of the back and individual holes for each finger, which means they're a little warmer but also a little harder to take off.

@Ariel: That sounds really cool! I have three pairs of black leather fingerless gloves, two pairs of black knitted fingerless gloves, a pair of red knitted fingerless gloves, and a pair of grey fingerless gloves. I'm pretty sure that's it. 😀 But they're amazing! I usually only wear the black gloves though.
