@gyps: I'm both too compassionate and too hard; depending on the circumstances, I'd easily swing one way or another. I can pretty much guarantee that there would be times I'd end up going home with a heavy, heavy burden on my heart; and then other times I'd want to shake the other person and say, "Hellooooooo, are you not seeing this?!" even though that's definitely not a recommended course of action. 😕

I just feel bad for all the kids in the world who are hurting, and feel like they can't tell their parents. Because honestly, if you tell your parents you're suicidal, they're obviously going to think you're insane or take you to a therapist. Which, that would probably be good for you, but I don't think that's the right way to solve problems sometimes. 😕 And sometimes, kids just need someone to talk to besides their parents. It's sad, but it's true. 🙂

I think some who did commit these things did so over overdoses of therapists or mental hospitals.

Yes! Exactly. It doesn't help sometimes. Everyone is different, and sometimes people just need a different treatment for their problems, not for everyone to think they're crazy. 🙄
And they don't need people to think that they've had something terrible happen in their past, even though sometimes it has. People always assume that and try to treat depressed/suicidal kids like babies because of it. Sometimes, though, there's no reason for depression. No explanation. People just need to talk to someone. They need help. And I think I can do that for them. Somehow. Some way.
