@Hobbit: We had to travel with ours on the road too. Will they need to be in cages/crates? We let ours out to roam the vehicle because they kept crying and twisting around in their crates. They did better without being in a cage and calmed considerably, even falling asleep on our laps (all cats are different, though). Also, something that may help are essential oils or treats meant to calm them (dogs too). I don't know any off the top of my head, but if you visit a pet store I'm sure they'll point you in the right direction.

@Ela: Well, Eowyn will be alright roaming free, but Abalone will have to be in a pet taxi because she gets scared otherwise, and the dog has to be in a crate because he likes to worry the cats. 😛 And we'll be letting them out at rest stops so they don't get too stir-crazy.
