Did you know Pixar released their own animation program for free? It's pretty cool they'd do that.

It appears Pixar's program isn't actually a tool for animating unless you happen to be excellent at coding, (why would news outlets suggest that it was... I was so looking forward to it myself... ugh ...Anyway...), it's actually more of a rendering system plug-in. So, if you happen to have a program that can work with it (think pricey animation software) then it would work out. :p Apparently Blender, a truly free 3D animation program is working on compatibility with it. (Note that none of the above programs are affiliated with TLC. If you happen to search and/or download any of the above it is at your own risk.)
