@Dilly: It's good... Got a lot of action and violence, more than I had remembered, but it's a good Christian movie that reinforces Christian values.

Hmm, how to link Courageous to Narnia. I guess one thing that comes to mind is that one of the Courageous characters says that spending time with one's kids should be a given of fatherhood. Thinking of that in relation to Narnia, I think of Tirian's memory of playing with his father in the garden.
There's also temptation in both. One of the Courageous characters has his own "Turkish Delight", which leads to a betrayal of trust.
And while both stories take a different angle to it, the importance of family features in both.
