I shouldn't have stayed up til 2 am writing. 🙄 What's sort of funny is that the story starter was the sentence: "There were so many reasons I didn't want to get out of bed..." and I'm thinking, "Yes, for one thing, I'd stayed up til 2 in the morning writing this story..."

Yes, it is irony. I was thinking about writing a second short story about why I (as in me, not a different character who happens to be the main character in the story) did not want to get up this morning.

@cor: I'd disagree on the Lego Movie since I can think of a number of horrific kids' movies. Black Cauldron (*shudders at the memory* and that was Disney?!). Road to El Dorado (*gags at the memory*). Turbo (*headdesks at the memory*). Most of the new VeggieTales that came after Pirates (*sighs at the memory*). Every Barbie movie following Island Princess (*groans at the memory* (um... yeah, don't ask)).... And let's not even talk about the animated LotR (*runs away at the memory!*) 😀
