October is...the month in which Reformation Day (not Halloween!) happens. It's also one month before November (the month in which Thanksgiving happens) and two months before December (the month in which Christmas happens). It is the tenth month of the year, although "oct" translates as "eight", hearkening back to the time when April was the first month of the year (which is where the origins of April Fool's Day come from). ...Why do you ask? 😛
And happy birthday Elanorelle's kitty!
Lucy.
Very good description, Hobbit! Better than mine anyways! Thank you, Kitty! Some on I know has a birthday today too!

Lucy who has seen The Lorax now...twice! 🙂 And actually liked it a lot, even though she read the book before she saw the movie!
@cor: *shudders* I hated that movie.
@hobbit: *blink* Wow. Nicely done. 🙂
