I remember, I believe it was a newsboys song, that I call it "the bean song" 😛

And a lot of Newsboys. Newsboys are awesome.

Such a good quote. I like old and new...but by new, I do mean B.M.T. (Before Michael Tait).

I love soundtracks, Celtic music, Tenth Avenue North (I got to see them in concert! 😀 ), Steven Curtis Chapman, Chris Tomlin (I've also seen him in concert), Casting Crowns, For King and Country, Sidewalk Prophets, Kutless, some tobyMac, some Britt Nichole, and some Owl City. And a teeny, tiny bit of Taylor Swift (Seriously, I like about three songs :P). Yeah, I like a lot of bands. 🙂

Seems as if everyone likes Celtic music 😛

Some bands that I think are particularly good would be TAN (Tenth Avenue North), For King and Country, Chris Tomlin, Steven Curtis Chapman (most of his older songs, examples: Dive, Great Adventure, Bring it On), Kutless, Mikeschair, Sanctus Real, and others I'm sure. There are a lot of songs that I enjoy listening too but to list them would take quite a long time.

Well, I certainly love Celtic music, so add me to the list. I also love Andean music, which is often in a minor key and is very haunting. I love sound tracks, especially by James Horner and John Williams, and also Miklos Rozsa, who wrote the sound tracks for Ben Hur, King of Kings, Ivanhoe, and El Cid. I also love a lot of show tunes from musicals, both movie and stage ones.

I love classical music. I mean, love it--symphonies and chamber music and many operas. I even love some operas in languages I can't understand. My favorite operas are often Russian ones, because in the 19th century, a lot of them were often based on traditional folktales and folk tunes, so they were very lavish and fantastical. (As I say, I don't understand most of what's going on--the music seems to tell its own story.)

I like the occasional pop ballad, usually for the music, not the lyrics.

I love all different types of music. My favorite bands are: Imagine Dragons, Brooke Fraser, Casting Crowns and of course I am HUGE fan of The Piano Guys. I love their music and blends of different styles they have. I love how they mix popular songs like Home by Philip Philips with Bach or OneRepublic's song Secrets with Beethoven's 5th Symphony. I also love my cello music. I love listening to Steve Sharp Nelson who plays the cello in The Piano Guys. He's an awesome cellist. I also love classical music, Operas and soundtracks from various musicals and movies.

Yes, I love listening to the Piano Guys. *sigh* I'll never be able to play piano that good.

They are inspiration for getting better at playing cello. I love trying to play the things he does and trying the precision on my cello like he does. They are an awesome group.

I like Meredith Andrews (All of her songs are so Biblical), Britt Nicole, Toby Mac, Keith and Kristyn Getty (They're Irish, and their songs are amazingly Biblical), Kerrie Roberts, FFH, Casting Crowns, and pretty much any Christian music (but mostly the fast ones. I like fast songs.)

Most of Britt Nicole's music is really good. 😀 Toby Mac. 😛 Um... Matthew West, I think his name is that sings some awesome songs too. 😀

Matthew West is great! We've seen him at concerts many times and Eria and I have met him once. 🙂

Well I've just discovered Matt Redman's songs (besides the ones you might hear on the radio), and wow, they are amazing. 😀 "Never Once" is now one of my favourites among others of his.

We met Brandon Heath after his concert! His music was awesome. He's one of the best soft singers I've heard. We have like, three of his albums.

My little brother just got for KING & COUNTY's album and Rend Collective's album. Both are pretty good so far. We've been singing Rend Collective's 'Build Your Kingdom Here' and 'Second Chance' in church. It's good music. 🙂

Wait... you sing songs from this century at your church, Engee?!?!?!?

The most recent one we sing was written in 1981! (on Sundays. On Wednesdays we do some praise and worship.)
