Eh, I know ST is more some people's cup of tea than SW. Aygee is the rare type of person who likes both, so I do know a little bit about ST, even if I don't care about it. 😉

I've watched the original series and next generation Star Trek, and... well, it gets corny. Scenarios like, "Oh noes guys, the Enterprise has acquired its own intelligence! Hmm... do we add it to the federation now, or what? 😯 " show up frequently. 😆 ... Sooooo, I do like Star Trek, but I prefer Star Wars. 😛

Shasta blinks at the sudden activity in this thread. And randomly states that she cares not a whit for either Star Wars or Star Trek. 😛 Shasta does like stars though. Astronomy was the science she liked best to learn.
My dad used to be a Trekkie, and most of my friends are either die-hard Star Wars fans or die-hard Trekkies. So I couldn't really escape without knowing at least a little bit about both of them. There was even some nice, intense peer pressure going on at one point. 😛

I don't know a think about Star Trek. BUT I BOUGHT THREE STAR WARS BOOKS TODAY AND I'M SO EXCITED TO READ THEM!!!!!!!!!!
