That awkward moment when you're at work and you move your cursor to the edge of the screen in an attempt to scroll, the way you would if you were playing Battle of Middle Earth. Clearly, I've played a little too much in the past four days. 🙄

@hobbit: Battle for Middle-earth is, yes, a game. But it's unlike other Middle-earth games (such as the Lego LotR, Aragorn's Quest, or Shadow of Mordor) in that this one is strategy- and troop-based, rather than hack-n-slash. You lead troops (and at least one "hero", aka important canon character) into battle. Of course, the known fights like Helm's Deep are there (though with AU tweaking, like Gandalf surviving the Balrog or Gondor retaking Osgiliath or Sam rescuing Gondor soldiers to attack Cirith Ungol), but you can also conquer additional territory like the Wold of Rohan. It can also be pretty challenging until you figure out how best to structure your troops and when and where to attack/defend (I lost Lothlorien twice (and that one's not even hard!), restarted Helm's Deep three times, spent probably two hours last night trying to re-take West Emnet because all my Rohirrim kept on getting slaughtered...). /And/ you can choose to play as either the good guys or the bad guys.
That turned out way longer than Shasta intended. 😳

@Hobbit: It /is/ fun. 😀 I'm amazed it works on my computer, considering the game is out of print and I have some difficulty getting more recent games (*cough* Lego LotR *cough*) to install (it's fine now, for the record). 😛
