Sashta
Shasta rereads the fanfiction I wrote last night. It's...even more depressing and more poorly-written than I remembered. But hey, I got to use a couple of Elvish phrases in it! 😛 ... 🙄
@Ariel-a-few-pages-back: Hobby. I have a training sword and used it back in the states, but I've gotten out of practice. So I'm re-learning techniques. 😉
Shasta.
@Alex: ooh, cool! Sounds like so much fuuuuuuun!
@hobbit: haha! Welcome to the club of depressing writers. *side-eyes half of her original prose*
Corin! Change/rewrite any Tolkien poem to fit the theme of your set.
😆 Okay, Ariel. Does it have to be the whole thing, or can I just take a verse or two?
Shasta!
@Ariel: 😆 I'm trying to decide whether it would be worth posting it in Non-Narnian Fan Fiction or not.
Shasta is excited but also (weirdly) the slightest bit nervous about going back to the States for a week.
@Alex: However long or short as you like.
@Hobbit: so long's it's not T-rated, I'd say go for it! 😀
Shasta does not want to do anything responsible right now. As bad as that sounds. 😛
Jesus Christ was the King of kings,
Of Him the Christian gladly sings,
The Son whose realm is always free,
One merely needs to taste and see.
His words were strong, His glance was keen,
His miracles afar were seen,
The countless stars of heaven's field,
Were by His wondrous word revealed.
But long ago He made a way,
And where He dwelleth you can stay,
For pow'rs of darkness made a scar,
In both His hands, where Christians are.
Sorry, it's not very good. But then again, I don't have much practice re-writing Tolkien poems. 🙄
Shasta!
@Ariel: Well...it involves aftermath of a battle, so I don't know how that would be rated. I could just include a warning...?
@Alex: Aw yeah!! I like it...
Shasta!
@Alex: *blinks* "Not very good"?! Maaaan, if only I could manage meter, I'd be happy! That was great! That last stanza....
@Hobbit: maybe to be safe, you could PM it to me first?
Shasta can't seem to concentrate.
@Ariel: Okay.
Shasta!
😆 Thanks, Ariel. At first I was just like, "Ahh, I don't know which poem to do!" And then I saw that one and I thought, "Ooh!" 🙂
Shasta!
Shasta!
@Alex: which poem is it?
Shasta
Shasta is depressed by her spotless room. But I cannot WAIT UNTIL HOBBITS COMES AND SEES ME OMG OMG I'M SO FREAKING EXCITED. YOU GUYS I GET TO SEE HOBBIT
