Happy Memorial Day!
*something profound about those who have died to give us our freedom and how much I appreciate their sacrifice inserted here* ok, we'll go for hymn lyrics instead.
O valiant hearts who to your glory came
Through dust of conflict and through battle flame;
Tranquil you lie, your knightly virtue proved,
Your memory hallowed in the land you loved.
Proudly you gathered, rank on rank, to war
As who had heard God’s message from afar;

Someday I want to stand and recite that in the middle of a memorial, just quietly as if to myself. It's such a noble piece, and makes me happy.
