He saw a broken jar of jelly beans on the ground, with five beetles and a pansy near.

"Oh, no!" he groaned.

The beetles all ran (or crawled) as fast as they could to go see him and shake his hand.

Faramir momentarily wondered how the beetles were big enough to shake his hand.

The Pevensies rushed out of the castle to greet him as quickly and sophisticated-looking as they could in such a hurry. Lucy forgot to change into shoes instead of the slippers she was wearing.

Oh bother cried Lucy and she waddled in her wet slippers towards Faramir.

Two hobbits followed up the rear of Faramir's procession.

With one look at the procession, Lucy muttered, "Here we go again," as she took off her slippers; she would rather be barefooted in a court session than wear slippers.

Suddenly, a huge army galloped up to the gate.

It was the Calormenes, of course.

They promptly began to steal all the jelly beans they could find.

Then a pink baby panda crawled up and started taking jelly beans too.

The Calormene army then galloped away, because they remembered they left the microwave running back in Tashbaan.....

But they came back when Rabadash got a phone call that one of his servants had turned it off for him.

So they turned around and came back to Narnia.
