So then Reepicheep appeared out of nowhere and....

Then the Panda crawled over to Reep to give him a hug.
"Thank you," Susan said.
Because she knew that Reepicheep would highly object to being hugged by a human.

He did, however, allow the panda to hug him.
Though he obviously cringed at being hugged....

Lucy just stared and wished that he would let her hug him.
The jelly bean rain began to pelt harder, and they all ran under the arch of the gate. The Calormenes had jelly beans stuck in their armor.

The panda continued to hug Reep, but very soon he became distracted by the jelly beans stuck to his fur.
Then Lucy noticed that a cloud was approaching that looked like a GIF of a scene from the PC movie.

What's a GIF? she wondered.
It suddenly faded away, along with any memory of the whole thing. Edmund remembered that he had left the bird locked up in the highest tower of the castle, and ran up the stairs to go let it out.

The Panda followed Edmund crying to be picked up.
Edmund ran back as fast as he could to pick up the panda, and raced back up the stairs to help rescue the canary from the high tower.
