By then the panda was out of sight.
And then Susan and Faramir came running up the tower, with Peter and two Hobbits trailing behind.

"I think that we can handle letting a canary out without your help!" Lucy groaned.
"C'mon, guys!!!" the baby panda shouted back at them.
"No!" shouted Susan, "we didn't come to help you with the canary! The jelly beans are still pouring down, half of Narnia is covered in them. We MUST find a way to stop them!"

"But, Susan!" wailed Lucy. "We must help the canary! The we'll stop the jelly beans!" And Lucy rushed after the panda.
When they reached the tower, the canary was sitting behind a strange looking piece of machinery.

"What is that?" Edmund asked, not really expecting a serious answer.
The canary made a sound that could be considered maniacal laughter.

"This... is.... weird," Lucy mumbled.
The canary pulled a funny looking lever, and the jelly beans began pelting even harder than before.

"Evil canary!!!" Sam started screaming.
Sam threw a rock at the canary, but the canary's force-field made it bounce off onto the floor.

Susan shot at it with her magic bow.
The arrow ricocheted off the force-field too. The canary had it's secret plot thought out too well.
