"Oh," said Susan sheepishly. "I'm sorry, Eustace!"
Eustace grinned a nice big dragon-grin at Susan.

"How did you become a dragon?" she asked.
"I think I spent too much time in the chocolate factory," he replied.

Hubert exclaimed suddenly "I WANT CHOCOLATE!!!"
"HUSH," said Eustace. "You're ruining the dramatic effect of my sad tale!"

"What's sad about it?" Hubert wondered. "All you mentioned was chocolate."
"Alas," he replied as dramatically as he could, "I've been turned into a scaly winged beast."

"Hmph" snorted Hubert "All I wanted was chocolate."
"Well, fine." Eustace grumped, "I'll fly you there if you want. And you'll probably turn into a dragon if you do. Herumph."

"I'm sure I won't!" Hubert exclaimed happily.
So Hubert started running in circles.
