"No, no, no, no!" Cried Hubert again "You should let me eat them!"
"Go ahead," sighed Lucy. She knew that Hubert wouldn't be able to eat all of those jelly beans in less than 5 years.

Hubert dove his face in the jelly beans and started munching.
So then Eustace and Edmund decided to go eat jelly beans with him.
Thank you, Hobbit!
"NO!" Hubert said "My jelly beans!"
Eustace and Edmund backed off....

"Thank you." Hubert said primly, then went back to eating.
Eustace pouted because a PANDA had yelled at him. He was at least 15 times bigger than Hubert.

Hubert didn't notice that Edmund was pouting because his face was in the jelly beans.
And then, because Edmund was small enough to bury himself under the jelly beans without Hubert noticing, he dove in.

All Hubert heard was a rustling sound but he paid it no attention.
And then a rabbit popped up from its' hole where it had been stuck until the jelly beans had been melted off of the door.

"Hello, little rabbit!" Said Hubert politely.
Then the rabbit screamed, because it had never seen jelly beans before.
