Lucy, meanwhile, reeeeeeeeeeeeally was hoping Faramir would share his jelly beans.

He noticed her looking at him with her puppy-dog eyes and offered her a handful. She grabbed them and stuck one in her mouth, mumbling, "Thank you," around it.

Then suddenly, the bush shook, and.... it was Edmund, the other human that almost stepped on the beetles earlier.

"Ed! Where have you been?" Susan scolded.

"Oh, do come off it, Su! I mean, it isn't the simplest thing in the world to escape from ear-nabbing witches," Edmund grouchily replied.

The hobbits, meanwhile, were sitting nearby hoping no one would notice them.

Apparently nobody had because they were in their Elvish cloaks. Finn, Frank, Fannie, and Fred decided to go take a nap. Fran, however, still in her grasshopper form, sat on Lucy's shoulder and made cute chirrupy noises.

"Hullo there!" Lucy said.

Fran continued to make chirrupy noises because she didn't speak in human talk.

"Mr. Frodo, where do you suppose we are?" Sam asked with a sigh.

Faramir replied, "You'll find you're in the country of Spare Oom, near the shining city of War Drobe where eternal summer reigns! That's where the road of yellow brick leads."

Sam blinked. "Mr. Bilbo never mentioned any of those places from his adventures!"

"That," replied Faramir, "is because he never went to War Drobe."

Boromir came running past at that moment, blowing his horn! "I must protect the little ones!"

The Calormenes tripped Boromir as he ran past.
