I hadn't until I went (read: was forced to go) skiing with my school. I came home and my dad fixed up that odd-sounding drink for me. The science behind it is that your body naturally produces and uses gelatin to fix up natural tears in your muscles. Drinking the jello gives your body extra gelatin to work with and so your muscles heal up faster while you sleep.
And the results of my post-skiing drink? Walked into school the next day fit as a fiddle and having pretty much forgotten about skiing the day before until I started hearing all my schoolmates complaining that they ached. 🙂
Wow! *puts that somewhere in her memory so she'll remember it, but will probably forget about it when the time actually comes*
Haha. At the very least, make sure there's jello in the house when you need it. It's not fun knowing the remedy but not having it on hand.
I just looked in the pantry. We have raspberry jello powder. Yummy. 😀 (why does "yummy" sound sarcastic unless I use an exclamation point?)
Haha.
Last night, three of the girls (four if you count the middle one's invisible clone) at writer's group had to stay at our house /really/ late because neither of their families' moms could pick them up. While they were here, they told me all about personality types and helped evaluate mine. I took an online test eariler to see how accurate they were, and my friends were off only by one letter. 😀 We tried to evaluate Smaug, but we were off by two letters. 😛
We tried to evaluate Smaug.
😛
Smaug as in my brother, not the dragon. 😉
Ah. (Sometimes that needs a bit more clarification. 😉 )
It would be interesting to do that though... I'll ask my friend.
My older sister had her first day at her job today! Whoo Hoo!!
I hope it went well for her!
It did. She had fun. My dad and I went stalk her. It was fun 😀
Haha, that's good. 🙂
@Cor I love your set!!! 😀 I have recently discovered the world of Merlin. My younger sister (who is about 0% excitable about anything) is totally in love with the characters and world in Merlin. It's pretty much the only thing she watches now. Help! My little sister is becoming a fan girl! 😛
