Merlin is the best! I love the fighting because it looks so real! But the dragon is sorta weird. @Arna How long have you been watching merlin? What season are you on? (I want to know how much I can talk about cuz I finished all the seasons 😀 )
@Ariel Hahahaha, I will. 🙂 It's really funny because she never really gets into anything, but she's really into Merlin. My little brother likes all the knights and fighting in it. I've been enjoying it myself. 🙂
@Cor We're about three or four episodes into Season 4. Highlight the next line for spoilers. --> Uthur just died and Arthur was crowned king.

@cor: I've seen all of them too! I'm working on rewatching the show, but it's been slow going on that front because life keeps on getting in the way (I'm partway through season five though)....
Okay, now Younger Sister has crossed the line. She told me that Merlin is better than Narnia. 😛
@Cor We've been watching, idk, maybe since June? May? I really can't remember. We've been making quick progress. My grandma is unwell, so my Mom has been staying with her a lot which means us kids are on our own two to three days out of the week, so we've gotta a lot of Merlin episodes watched. Merlin and the Avenger superhero movies.

Perhaps, but as much as I like Merlin (easily in my top 5 tv shows), I can't say I like it more than Narnia. I think the biggest thing in Narnia's favour for me is that Narnia's got oodles of spiritual significance. Though I do give Merlin loads of points for character building and development. And for making each season just as good as the previous one (which Once Upon a Time doesn't quite manage). And Merlin has most certainly earned points on the humour front. 🙂
I think Merlin is actually in my top three favorite TV shows! I think it places second. I do like how like you said Narnia has lots of spiritual significance! I just stopped watching OUAT cuz I didn't like it(Compared to Merlin) But Narnia doesn't have a lot of humor like Merlin so I like them both for different reason.so that is why they are the same for me. I think if Narnia had a bit more humor and the movies were better then I would like Narnia better than Merlin but they are both right up there in the favorite place for me!
There are definitely things that both Narnia and Merlin have the other does not, like you said. 🙂
(I think my top five shows go in something of this order: Young Justice, Merlin, Sherlock (I think I'm a bigger fan of this than Merlin, but Merlin tends to stay clean), Once Upon a Time, and ... TRON: Uprising? (I can't remember if there's a show that ranks higher than that at the moment.))
Ok this is me: Doctor Who, Merlin. Sherlock...and we don't watch any other TV shows. But I would have to say cuz Once upon a time.
I never grew up watching tv and it's a rather new thing to me -- only started in the past... three years, I think? Young Justice, TRON: Uprising, and Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes are all kids' cartoons, but I really like Young Justice, TRON was alright (and it stars Frodo and Rapunzel :lol:) (and I wish Disney would make a second season, but I don't think they will *sigh*), and Avengers: EMH was also alright (and oodles better than the new Avengers Assemble *gags*).
