We had a big 4-H awards program today. It was really fun! I had a couple of speeches and awards to present, and won my fair share. I enjoyed it. Then tonight with youth group, we went to a concert by a band called Red Roots. They're a Christian Country band. It's three red-headed triplets. They were really good!

EDIT: So...I'm really excited right now... Tenny got me into the Wingfeather series last February, and I've worked my way through the books over the summer (but I haven't had a chance to read the fourth book yet). In the third book there is a song that Leeli sings called, "My Love Has Gone Across the Sea." The author's daughter sang the song in a video that Tenny shared with me, and the tune and lyrics stuck with me. All that to say...I figured out how to play it on my flute!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited!! It's awesome. And now I shall have to practice till I can nail it and then film myself to share with you.

So I'm finally seeing The Maze Runner on Tuesday! I'm sooo excited! 😀 I read the book and loved it, and I'm hoping to get my hands on the rest of the series soon...

Oh, that's cool, Quill! My sister and I went to see it this summer, because we had both read the books, and it was pretty good, though they did change some stuff and mess with the timeline. I'd have to see it again to catch everything, but overall, it was pretty good.

That's good to hear! (By the way, I'm actually seeing it tomorrow). Yeah, I heard that they changed some things, but I'm actually not too picky with stuff like that. Do you have a favorite character, Engee? 😀

*pokes head in* Gally/Gully is mine!!!!!!! And.....*doesn't remember his name* The gardener boy! And I guess I like Thomas and Teresa. OH OH! I know who I'm missing! I like Alby! NEWT! That's his name! Sorry, it's hard to keep all their names straight!

@Cor: LOL 😆 My favorite characters are Newt, Chuck, and Gally. 😀 I'm seeing it in a couple hours and I can't wait any longer!! *watches trailer over and over again*

My favorite character would be to be Thomas. I think that the way he reacts to everything is exactly how I would. 😛 "Why? Why? What about this? How 'bout this? Why? Why not?" 😆 I do really love Chuck, and Newt and Alby, and my sister's favorite character is Minho because he's so sarcastic. I like Minho too. Teresa is just eh. I like her well enough. Will Poulter is superb as Gally. I like Gally better now because of Will Poulter. 🙂

Right?! If Will Poulter wasn't Gally, I probably wouldn't really like Gally at all. 😛

So I just got back from the movie, and it was SO. AWESOME. I cried so much at the end!! 😥 I love how Maze Runner is intense, humorous, and emotional all at the same time. Did you hear that Scorch Trials comes out next September?

Yes, that ending! Gah! I knew it was coming. :'( Yup, maybe they'll keep ST closer to the timeline of the book.
