So, Youngest Sister likes to make up her own terms of endearment. Today she called me a "sweet catfish." I totally didn't see that one coming! 😀

How's everyone doing?

They might not need me but; they might.
I'll let my Head be just in sight;
A smile as small as mine might be
Precisely their necessity.

So, I'm reading The Scorch Trials as of last night. It's really neat to be reading it as they're filming it right now.
Also, I finally got around to watching the first episode of Doctor Who. I also really want to watch Merlin and Sherlock...

Which Sherlock are you talking about, by chance?
And does anyone know if the 1954 Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (with Ronald Howard as Holmes) are any good? (I ask because we just got the complete collection and have no clue what they're like...)

I was referring to the BBC Sherlock series starring Cumberbatch and Freeman. Though I've seen two episodes of the old Rathbone ones. (At least, I think that's what his name was.)

@QJ OOH! I love Merlin, Sherlock, AND Doctor Who! They are all good and if you don't like DW by the first few episodes you have to keep watching it! They get better! I do know some people who kept watching it and didn't like it though 🙁 Oh Well! I really hope you like them! And Merlin is always good! It is really funny and mostly comical with a good plot line except for Merlin saving Arthur almost every episode! In Sherlock, watch out for the episode "A Scandal in Belgravia" I'm not aloud to watch it, and I'm sure it is for a good reason!

@Cor: yeah you're banned from that episode for /extremely/ good reason. *shudders* Its not TLC-friendly. As for Merlin saving Arthur... I didn't mind. 😛 (Plus the, um, snake-head one kinda helps balance that out (*loves that episode*).

Yup, I loved Merlin. Yeah, there's plot holes and some weird stuff with magic, (check with your parents if weird magic stuff is okay), but I love Arthur and Merlin and the knights so much. I balled my eyes out when the series ended and I never cry at tv shows.

I agree with Ariel about BBC Sherlock. It's mostly good. But yeah, don't watch that episode. Ever.

And if you want a complete nonsense show that's full of laughs, watch the Penguins of Madagascar. It's hilarious. So stupid but extremely funny. My siblings and I have been watching it nearly every day for the past two weeks. We watched all the Merlin episodes, so we had to find something else, since Sherlock and Once Upon a Time are not okay for some of my younger siblings to watch.

@Hobbit, I have seen many (most?) of the Sherlock Holmes you are talking about (with Ronald Howard), and they are pretty good. (I don't remember all of them, but as with most shows, I think some were better than others.) Not my favorites or anything like that, but you know. And of course it also depends on if you enjoy old shows or not 🙂

@Ariel: My family and I just saw Big Hero 6 last night (which I very much enjoyed), and can I just say ... your signature .... :'(

@Engee: Though I've never seen either (there are two, right?) of the Madagascar movies, I found the Penguins of Madagascar preview (I haven't seen it either) to be quite amusing. More specifically the part where they're in the plane with the wolf and he keeps trying to talk and the penguin keeps crunching his Cheeto thingys and interrupting him. So hilarious! 😀

@Shi: heehee, yeah, my set's just torturous. 😀 I think your HTTYD2 one still tops it though. 😀

@Jill: So a coworker gave me an abridged version of Scorch Trials today (at least, as far as she's gotten in the reading). And I was wondering if you know how the noseless cranks came to be... noseless. You can PM me if its spoilery (or just too weird to post here ( I was pretty much like this 😯 for most of the time my coworker was running through the story)).

@Ariel You were talking to Jill, but I'm going to interrupt your conversation to say: I have no idea and cannot remember if it ever said why that cranks was nose-less.

@Shi There are actually three Madagascar movies. They're hilarious. The first one is still my favorite, and then the third one. The second one was bleh. There is a TV show with the Penguins, which is what I was referring to, but yes, they have a brand new movie about the Penguins in theaters. We saw it with my younger cousins for Thanksgiving. It was absolutely hilarious. We laughed so hard. And that wolf you mentioned is played by Benedict Cumberbatch. 😀

Ariel: Aw, thanks! 🙂 But yours is great!

Engee: Oh yes that's the one I was referring to. It looked pretty funny. And yeah, someone told me that Benedict Cumberbatch played him. That's funny 🙂

@Ariel: I haven't gotten to that part in the book yet, but if it talks about how they became noseless, I'll PM you. 🙂
Oh! Oh! I LOVE Madagascar! I agree with you Engee, the first one was the best. We saw the Penguins of Madagascar episodes, they're great. 😆 I really want to see the movie! The trailer was hilarious.
Guys, thank you for warning me about that episode of Sherlock. I hate when I'm watching something and then...BOOM. I'm scarred for life. 😳
Oh, I've started watching Once Upon a Time. It's super awesome! I've always loved fairy tales and that kind of thing, and the whole storyline is just really creative.
