Cool, thanks!
Yeah, avoid that one at all costs. Your'e not missing anything by skipping it (okay, except for the bit in which Sherlock tells John to "Yes, punch me in the face, did you not hear me?" To which John replies, "I always hear, 'punch me in the face' when you speak, but it's usually subtext." 😆 )
Warning that OUAT isn't always as clean as it looks. It's not like that episode of Sherlock, but it's a step in that direction in a couple places.
Yup, what Ariel said about Once. 😛
Yeah, we talked about that, and we agreed that I'll skip over the bad things. Too bad they couldn't make it more family friendly. 🙁
So what Christmas-y things have you guys been doing lately? Last night our church had a Christmas service, and after they had TONS of cookies! Seriously! It took up the entire gym! And next week we're seeing the Nutcracker. 🙂
For those who went to TLC's Christmas Costume Party but were unable to stay for the reveal here are some of the people behind the costumes:
Father Christmas: Kristi
Bells: Elanor
Elsa: Berry
Little Lamb: Gypsy
Melchior: Tenny
Random Shepherd 9: Engee
Abigail: Tooky
😛
@QJ OOH! NUTCRACKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *has a solo in the Nutcracker my school is doing* It's a short one but it is also my first and I'm very proud of it!
I was Wassail! 😉
Christmas-y things... well, I decorated a gingerbread house tonight. And I've been messing with some craft-y things (which is something of a stretch for me, as I don't have much exposure to that world, what with my family (immediate and extended) being mainly left-brained). And listening to Christmas music. 🙂
In totally random news, I said "snerk" out loud at work today.... 😯
I cracked up today listening to the radio in the car today with my sister. Brandon Heath's song "The Day After Thanksgiving" came on. It's hilarious. It is completely my mom's outlook on Fall and Christmas.
@Ella: Thanks for compiling the list! I was TomJenkins! 🙂
@cor: 😮 Wow!! Congratulations! That sounds like a lot of fun!
@Ariel: Ooh, fun! 🙂 Last night, we made sugar cookies 😀 Yum.
@Engee: YES! I heard that on the radio a couple weeks ago, I was laughing SO much. 😆
What's your favorite Christmas cookie?
I love sugar cookies, thumbprint cookies, and homemade peanut butter cups. 🙂
Probably sugar cookies. OOH, and gingersnaps!
Anything chocolate... ooh, and gingerbread!!!
@Anne and Shi: That's great! It was fun having you there to witness my version of a line in "I Heard the Bells" 😛 *hums*
Cookies, cookies... I like sugar, pumpkin chocolate, gingerbread, oatmeal and probably many others we make around here.
Gingerbread! But I like almost any kind of Christmas cookie. Our family makes a lot of German cookies around Christmas.
