So today a package came to our door addressed to me. I hadn't ordered anything at all and there was nothing to tell me who might have bought it - it just came from HarperCollins. Anyway, I opened it up and found a Hobbit Chronicles book for the latest film. Now those books are very expensive, at least for myself so I puzzled over who would give it to me. At last I understood... I WON it from a contest I entered months ago! One of fifteen that were given away. I never win anything - ever - so it's super exciting. ^.^ *squees on the inside*
Woah, that's SO cool! How exciting! A couple years ago we were at the library and they asked me if I wanted to enter some contest they were having, and on the spur of the moment type thing I said sure. I didn't expect to win at all and I completely forgot about the contest. Turns out I won 3rd place and my prize was a Narnia DVD! I'm still not over the irony of that. I mean, how did they know??

Winning stuff is always awesome! I hardly win anything ever, but my youngest sister wins sometime nearly every time she puts her name into a drawing!
