point #1: *high-fives* I walked out of college still single and very much content with it. 😉
point #2: Might want to check your front door. There should be one of those big grocery trucks in the vicinity full of cookies. Knock yourself out. 😀 (And all the best on your exams!)
point #3: ... you work at an ice cream shop?! That's just plain cool! (no pun intended)
point #4: Sorry, no idea. I don't listen to audiobooks myself, so....

*pokes into conversation that totally doesn't involve mystelf*

Tooky, or Lucy Took, or whatever you prefer to be called, 😛 ever heard of the Lamplighter Theater audios? They're really nice stories! Look it up, sometime. 😛 I listen to them all the time. That is, when I'm not brainwashing myself with the FotF Narnia audios. 😛 Yeh, since you asked for audiobooks/dramas. 🙂

Thank you, Hobbit!

Mmm, yes, Tooky! My suggestion would be the Wingfeather Saga. I know they have book one and two on audio (I don't know if it's a great recording or not, since I just read the books myself). They are very good, enjoyable stories. Just ask Tenny. She got me hooked. One of the best birthday presents ever!

*giggles* Andrew Peterson himself reads the books, if I recall. And he is so cool. Tooky has read book one, I think. She should do book two 😛

I like some of the LibriVox audiobooks. They're done by volunteers, and they only do books that are in the public domain in the US, so options are a bit limited and quality varies a good deal, but I've found many that I really love. 🙂 It's fun getting to hear a wide variety of accents and voices. 😀

I especially like ones that are dramatic readings (so, each character's part was read by a different person instead of one person reading everything). They've got a lot of E. Nesbit's stories on LibriVox, and Lewis Carroll, A. A. Milne, P. G. Wodehouse, L. Frank Baum, Shakespeare, Charles Dickens... tons of other good stuff. 🙂 Also, they have plenty of recordings of The First Fifty Digits of Pi, and some of those are pretty good (Pig Latin, real Latin, in one breath, "Gandalf", binary, in Hebrew, backwards, sung in Welsh,...).

The audiobook that is my absolute favorite (which I often listen to at night when I need help going to sleep) is the dramatic reading of "Once On a Time" by A. A. Milne. 😀 The readers for some of the characters really do an awesome job bringing the story to life.

[Insert standard disclaimer here about LibriVox not being associated with TLC, and that it's quite likely--if not probable--that some of the audiobooks on that site are not family-friendly.]

(LibriVox can easily be found by googling it.)

In other news, our bathtub was discovered to be leaking into the garage. It was the most bizarre thing. Youngest Sister found the hole in the tub for Dad--it's a centimeter or two from the bottom of the bathtub, so it's high enough that it's never under water when someone's taking a shower, but low enough that it's always under water when someone's taking a bath. We have absolutely no idea how the hole got there. 😯 It's been pretty exciting. 😆

They might not need me but; they might.
I'll let my Head be just in sight;
A smile as small as mine might be
Precisely their necessity.

On a random note, it's been snowing a lot the past couple days, like a few inches more each night. It's really fun to get all bundled up in cloaks and boots and whatnot and walk around outside watching the faces of the people in the cars that are driving past. Alex was in a full Black Rider costume yesterday, which was hilarious.

O.O I've seen snow once where I live but it didn't stick to the ground at all. I can't even imagine what it would be like to have actually real SNOW! 😯 But I think it would be great! Albero was telling me about it. She asked me if I'd ever been snowboarding and then asked if I'd ever seen a snowboard. I said no both times. 😕 What's a snowboard anyways? *looks it up*

Gypse you sound so weird "Snow? What is..........snow? I have never heard of such a thing! You mean it can.....stick to the ground and-and actually STAY!" Sorry if that sounds mean but I just thought it was really funny! Your response anyway! 😛

Snow is fun and snowboarding is fun!!! (Except when you fall and over-extend your elbow, so don't do that.)

RRfft, that's funny. 😆 Wellllll, if I ever see snow again, and it's however deep it needs to be to go snowboarding, I could consider giving it a try. 😛 Yeah, right. 😆 I know nothing about such stuffs.

Thank you, Hobbit!

It's been blowing a lot here and even though it hasn't actually snowed any more today, it looks like a blizzard outside because the wind is just whipping up all the already-fallen snow.
