@Hobbi: 😆 Hahahahahahahahuhuhuheheheheheeeeeeee!
@Ariel: O.O Goodness. Ouuuuuch...
@Ajjie: O.O Woah. That's very interesting.
I have a bruisish mark that is finally starting to fade away (I think--I hope), from skinning my knee real bad about a year ago. o.O Funny how some things just stick around. 🙂
They might not need me but; they might.
I'll let my Head be just in sight;
A smile as small as mine might be
Precisely their necessity.

O.O
I think the worst I've ever been hurt is when I fell of Harmony that one time. I bruised badly. And I could barely walk for three days. 😛 Breaking my arm didn't even hurt as bad.
Has anyone here broken any bones? 🙂
Oh- hooo, so I see it's the battle scar thread now. 😆
Nooooope, I'm totallay happy that I've never done that. We fell off our bike when we was liek, 6? And busted our chin, yesss yesss, not fun, no Precioussss, not fun. 😛 We remember to wear our helmet now.
(whyyyy am I talking like Mary-sue and Gollum???)
We goes off to find stuffs to make a horn, yesss, yess we does. 😀
Woah, Ajnos, really? That's crazy, and sort of fascinating!
Hahah, yeah, it's actually amazing how bad stepping on a dog bone can hurt!
I'm sure I have a few other scars as well.....My middle finger on my left hand kind of has a numb spot from years ago cutting it while chopping potatoes...I won't go into much detail, all I know is that it was the closest I ever came to fainting.
@Nan: Huhu! Woah! You sound hilarious! But that sounds awful! 😯
@Anne: O.O Woah, that sounds horrible! *dies* I have a scar on my right thumb from when I cut myself with a knife while chopping potatoes, but it barely hurt at all. 😯 That is awful!
Ooh, I've broken bones!
The first one wasn't so awesome as the second one -- I was roller-skating, and trying something new. Well, I fell and threw out my hands, and it broke my radius in my left wrist. I screamed and wailed, and then we had to pull our brother out of a basketball game to go to urgent care 😛
And then the second one we aren't even sure I broke -- but we're pretty sure I did. I was at fireworks show with Gyps, in this old parking lot with lots of ruts. Gyps walked back to the car, and I wanted to stay where I was because the fireworks were about to start, so I was following her but watching over my shoulder. Well, I stepped in a rut and rolled my ankle. I collapsed into the dirt, and then tried to get up and walk, and about screamed because it was so painful. So I sat down really hard in a pile of thorns again. And then the fireworks started.
They didn't realize I'd hurt myself. I texted Dad, using Mom's phone, and was like "uh... I hurt my foot." After a little bit, Dad came rushing over to see if I was ok and he wanted to carry me to the car, and I said no. I didn't really want to move -- I had a nice view 😉 Gyps came over and sat with me, and my ankle proceeded to swell up and I didn't enjoy the fireworks at all.
After they were over, Dad and Bro came over and offered to carry me back, but I was insistent that I was gonna walk, and so Gyps threw my arm around her shoulders and half carried me to the car. SHe was literally my other leg 😛 We went in and had it x-rayed but the bone-doctor-person wasn't in. They didn't think I'd broken anything, but we got a call from him the next week saying we ought to go see a specialist because he thought maybe it /was/ broken after all. But we decided not to go in 😛 So I'll never know for sure. Except that ankle is still really week 😛
@Ajjie: Huh, I never knew that was a thing!
I have a small scar on my wrist, though I've no idea what it's from (all I know is I got it when I was young). In kindergarten, I scratched my right calf stepping through a barbed-wire fence and though it wasn't deep, it turned into a scar... and then mysteriously disappeared when I was about ten. I still have two scars (of the discolouration type) on my lower shin from having tried to catch a kid from falling from her bike.
But my record for no broken bones still stands. 😀
Oh, bike accidents! Gypsy and I silently decided to play a game of chicken. While we were riding at top speeds to each other on blacktop. A car was coming. Gyps and I crashed. HARD. I flew off into the street and Gyps fell and the people in the car were just gawking at us... And then Gypsy and I burst into laughter.
@Tenny: No we crashed in the gutter, and /I/ flew into the street in front of a coming car. And the neighbors who's house we crashed in front of (they were sitting in front of their house) were like, "ARE YOU OKAY!" I dragged myself out of the street, picked up my bike, and laughed. 😛
And if it weren't for my love of skating really fast (and when little kids decide to jump in front of me, which they did 🙄 ) I would not have broken either of my arms!
One time, I was walking down some stairs in the dark, and I missed the two bottom steps. Well, I knew I was going to fall, so I pulled myself together and sprung off the step, so I could land right and wouldn't trip down the stairs. But I landed wrong anyways, and I twisted my ankle. I heard it pop. And I couldn't walk for like, three days after it. I got it checked and they said it wasn't broken, but I don't believe them. 😛
@gyps: Ah-- OW! I don't know why the ankle story sounds worse, but I'm cringing over here!
Yeah, and it was a bummer because my leap off the stairs was so epic. 😆 But it was kind of embarrassing, because I just sat there at the bottom of the stairs, too shocked to move for a moment. But luckily, I had my laptop with me, so I opened it and told all my friends about my fall. Then, and only then, did I go about standing up. 😛
Oh dear, Gyps. O.o
Seems as if everyone has had some wince-inducing injury and here I'm sitting unscathed... 😛 I've never broken anything in my life and I don't recall any sprains or severe bruises.
Well, today I went to my dentist. *Insert sarcastic Eugene/Flynn "Yay!"* He's a great dentist, best I've ever had, but it doesn't make going any less stressful and afterwards my mouth was numb for hours!
😛
Huhu! I have an okay dentist, I guess. I don't approve of the dentist. They don't scare me, and they don't hurt me, but I just don't approve. They are really too cheerful, and besides, their gloves taste horrible.
Dentists don't scare me either but it's the whole procedure which can be stressful, (I had a headache afterwards which is still lingering a bit). *Agrees about the gloves* and also that whatchamacallit stuff they put on your gums before they do the numbing shots.
