That awkward moment when a SCORPION TRIES TO CRAWL ONTO YOUR HEAD.
Silly mustached girl catapults through the air, throwing her lion necklace and screaming at the top of her lungs.
Yeah. That happened.
I've been recently trying to figure out turbans and Calormene clothing, so I had put a turban on and... maybe added a mustache and beard and was maaaybe pretending to be Rabadash.
A scorpion? Wait, what? Are you serious?
@Shi: yup, she's serious. She told me about it.
My goodness, Tenny! That's pretty crazy. And I liked your mustache. 😀
I woke up at 4:32 this morning, and waltzed out of my room, and then went back into my room and put shoes on. Because around this time of year is when the roaches, crickets, and scorpions come out. O.O
I remember one time when Arli and I were partying in the dining room at 4:00 in the morning and we heard a noise in the kitchen. It was a quiet clicking sound, and I said, "Arli, that's a roach!" and she was freaked out. And so we went into the kitchen, and sure enough, there were two dead roaches on the floor, and one live one crawling on the ironing board. That was pretty creepy.
But scorpions are WAY worse. I've seen like, hundreds in my lifetime, but I've never been stung.
We don't have cockroaches or scorpions, but we do have crickets...and mice...and an occasional rat.
Thank goodness for no cockroaches or scorpions, but we do have nasty stinkbugses, precious. Like, an OVERLOAD of them. In our house. :p
Ladybugs are the menace here!
And here's hoping the weather we've been having will keep there from being too many mosquitoes this coming summer!
*has mosquitoes in summer, too*
*hates and abhors them*
Mices and ratses? I've never seen one of those that's not a pet.
In Summer we have a lot of Grasshoppers here.
Grasshoppers? Yep, we've got those here, too. I used to be terrified of them.
One of our cats used to catch baby mice and bring them, alive and mostly unhurt, to me and I'd keep them as pets for a few days. One day he brought me a baby rabbit, too. But then one time one of our cats caught an eight-inch rat (not including the tail) and left it, all mangled, in the cats' food dish. It freaked me out when I found it.
Yeah, I was lying on the floor... and rolled over to see a scorpion rushing at my nose. He was an inch away from me before I was able to move away. So scary. I was screaming SO LOUD.
You were not screaming SO LOUD. 😆 You were just dancing.
Mosquitoes! I hate them!
