Scorpion! Eek! O.O I would totally freak out if that happened to me. We can have bug problems here, namely fire ants that cover the counter and sometimes the floor. Nasty, disturbing, uncomfortable things, those.

Does anyone know who the Red Baron from WWI is? I learned all about him in history, but today a bunch of my friends had never even heard of him. We were watching the Red Baron movie. What do public-schoolers learn in history?!

I don't know much about him, myself, and from my own experience in public school I know the Great War isn't covered as much as WWII. Honestly, it's just skimmed over, which is a shame.

All I know about the Red Baron was that he was one scary German pilot with a crazy number of Allied planes shot down. He was eventually taken down himself, but that took a rather long while.... (And, no, I didn't learn that in school, public or not. I learned it from my dad when the two of us would often play a Miniclip game that mentioned him. 🙂 )

All I know about him is that Snoopy didn't like him. 😆

Speak for yourselves, I been in state school all my school life and I learned the heck out of WW1 and WW2 but then. Europe. Right in the centre of it all.

I likely knew at one time who the Red Baron was and promptly forgot it. It probably didn't seem to be of great importance at the time. To quote Sherlock Holmes, "It is of the highest importance...not to have useless facts elbowing out the useful ones." So I, therefore, go and memorize full movies and musicals word-for-word. 😛

Baron Von Richtoff or something, wasn't he?
@Jaygee -- SNOOPY! I know that song. I LOVE that song 😛
@Hobbit -- 😛 I know, right?

Also, *cough* I was reading a Narnia trivia book earlier and it was pretty simple stuff, and I was kinda ticked off at it, so I made my own trivia quiz. Anybody wanna see what you can do with it? It's all based on HHB 😉

@Tenny: Well, that was hard. I got a poor score for sure. 😛

Anyway, I'm in need of some new reading material, so does anyone know of a good book or novel that isn't a part of a series? I want to read something longer than a short story but I don't want to become invested in something that's part one of 15, if you take my meaning. 🙂
