@Jaygee: I'm into classic literature, some fantasy, historical fiction (medieval, early 19th century, WWI, WWII), and others if there's a good story. 🙂
phbbbt, nine isn't so bad! Those were HARD questions!!
You know, in school, Nia, if we had to take something a second time, it was automatically one grade above failing, no matter if we got 100 percent the second time. 😉
@Ela: I recently found a good book... it was set in medieval England. It's called Dauntless, and it's by... oh, snap. I don't remember, but I know I mentioned it in the "What Readest Thou?" thread... Gimme a sec... Dina L. Sleiman. It was sorta like Robin Hood, if Robin was a girl, that is. 😉
@Jaygee: Hmm, sounds interesting, thanks. 🙂 Now I just have to see if my library has it.
*changes the subject*
Ever since I made Susan's farewell dress (you can see pics in the costume thread) I've been searching for another costume to make that was worth the time and money I'd put into it. Frozen has been huge and I love the costumes in it. In the fall, I had my heart set on making Anna's blue dress/travel dress/adventure dress. Whatever you prefer to call it. It'd be a practical dress for Ren Faires and events. Buuuuuut... I changed my mind. I'm going to be making Anna's coronation dress (the green and gold one with the awesome box pleat skirt). My friend is having a Frozen birthday, so I will be able to wear it for that, various Ren Faires and costume occasions, and then my homeschool group is having a spring formal this year, so it will serve as my spring formal dress! What better twirly dress for a dance, right? I purchased my fabric last night and everything was on sale, so it cost me half of what I was estimating! As you can guess, I'm really excited! Be sure to check the costume thread over the next couple months to see pictures of progress.
And speaking of Frozen and it's success... Yesterday it was officially announced that there will be a Frozen 2!
That's so cool, Engee! Can't wait to see it!
Yep, I knew that! Aygee called me yesterday to inform me.
Anyone heard of Frozen Fever, a short in theaters today with the live-action Cinderella?
That's cool, Engee! Your other costume turned out beautiful and I'm sure this one will too. 🙂 Anna's coronation dress is really the only one I could see myself wearing, the others not so much. I'm also making a cosplay for myself, though without much sewing (we don't have a sewing machine unfortunately and hand sewing isn't the thing for me), and it's certainly not going to be as elaborate as that dress. 😛 I wish I could say who I'm cosplaying but I'm sworn to secrecy until Eria's party...
(Yep, but that's a topic probably more suited to the Frozen thread :)).
@Ela: Well, we know it's not Bilbo. 😉
Ooh Frozen dresses! Sounds exciting! And I watched a preview for Frozen Fever but I haven't seen it. And I'm excited and curious about Frozen 2.
@Ella - Have you read "The Story of Rolf and the Viking Bow" by Allen French? I really enjoyed that and would recommend it. 🙂
@Engee: I feel like when I'm rich and famous (ha!), I'm going to have to ask you to make all sorts of cosplay stuffs for me. 😉 Can't wait to see how it'll turn out!
@Shi: No I haven't. I'll have to also check if my library has that book. I couldn't find the one Jaygee suggested, unfortunately.
@Ella - If you have an iPod/iPhone/iPad, I believe that the iBook app has a free download for it. 🙂

Oooooooh, that sounds like fun, Gypsy!
Well, I'll be taking a midterm tomorrow for a hard class that I really dislike, so if you think of it, send a prayer my way.
