Yesterday I got my dress pattern for Anna's coronation dress and was finally able to start into it! I cut out all the pattern pieces yesterday, and today I cut out the pieces for the bodice lining. I'm making the lining first, to make sure I don't mess up on the actual bodice! π This is my first time sewing with satin, but it's going really well. I have one more seam to finish, and the bodice lining will be done! Tomorrow I'm making a stop at JoAnn's to pick up interfacing and a separating zipper because I missed those on my list when I purchased my materials several weeks ago. Let me just say, I am so thrilled to finally be making this dress and I'm really hoping that it will be the most awesome thing ever!!!

My new niece was born!!!!! But I haven't got to see her yet! She was born on Good Friday and got to come home on Easter! Can't wait to meet her. π

I finished the boning on the lining as well as the interfacing and the actual bodice. All it needs now is a zipper, and the fancy designs on the front before I can sewing the lining to it.
