Oooh, nice, Tooky! I hope this year is a good year for your garden. 🙂 Our family garden started growing better the year we got a garden plot in a community garden and got to learn a lot from more experienced gardeners...
They might not need me but; they might.
I'll let my Head be just in sight;
A smile as small as mine might be
Precisely their necessity.

Oooh! We've never done much with herbs, though. 😀 But few years ago, we had sooooooooo many cucumbers 😯 Tons of them 😛 Waaaay too many to eat, and not enough people to give them away to 😆 ...and we were about to leave on vacation. That worsened the situation somewhat 😕
And on a random note to do with gardening, anybody else around here like blue-berries? They're almost in season, and two of the plants we have are loaded with them. Except they're not blue yet. And then we have two blue-berry farms down the road 😀
I took care of a garden for an older neighbour. It was going well till we had a windstorm which took down the shade we created, so the poor fruits and veggies fried in the sun. 🙁 I hope you do better with your garden, Tooky.
I like blueberries, but I've never tried growing them. Not a clue how they work with my area.
So new forum design. I think I'm going to really like it once I get used to it.
I'm pretty sure Kristi's going to make the heading changed and such, back to what it was in January. She just decided to stop for today 😛 you won't have time to get used to it, methinks.
The buttons are green, so I approve! 😀
I'm definitely going to have to get used to this... especially with my avatar being on the left instead of the right. I do like how it looks, though.
I feel like the new design is very streamlined and clean (not that the old one wasn't, this one just seems more minimalistic). I really like how the bubbles are coloured for unread topics.
But yeah, it will (?) take some time to get used to.
I still kinda miss the old yellow forum though.
So today one of our new Classics Master's students presented her research proposal which is comparing (an aspect of) Till We Have Faces to the original Psyche and Cupid myth. It's kinda exciting to find another South African Lewis fan in my institution 😀 Also I learnt that apparently Lewis' works are all already in Public Domain in South Africa (as of 2014) because copyrights here expire 50 years after the author's death. (I assume this only applies to works published in his lifetime, but still, that includes Narnia). I should finish my Susan fanfic 😉

You hear that guys? Ajjie is the only one of us who can legally write and publish original Narnian fiction for profit!
The new forum look is messing with my mind. 😛 But I'm sure I'll get used to it eventually, like I did with the blue one.
Oooooooh, cool, Ajjie!
So if we send it to Ajjie she can publish it and we can have our money funneled to us in the form of turkish delight? Cool.
My brother's graduating high school today. Hard to believe he's that old.
Hard to believe /I'm/ that old.
So presumably I can legally publish stuff in SA, but can it be sold internationally or would you be stuck with a South African readership?
Also that may not be true that I'm the only one who can publish fan fiction since we're not the only country with the 50 year law. You should see what others there are. Possibly Aus. Maybe even Canada but that might wishful thinking.
