You know, as much as we joked about bad Narnian fanfiction in the heyday, aside from a lot of inexperienced writers, I don't think a lot of it was terrible looking back.

Again, a lot of inexperience, but it's not nearly as squicky as other fandoms in the vast majority of Narniafics.

I'm back from a wonderful vacation! The weather was terrific, we went swimming every day. We snorkled a lot and saw so many cool sea creatures. We saw a giant starfish, a little octopus, and barracudas that were four feet long. The best part was that we went swimming with the sea turtles! They live wild in the ocean near a certain island where we were snorkling. You can't touch the turtles, but you can swim right next to them. It was so cool. That was a highlight for me, because I love turtles.

My Anna dress is nearly completed. Spring Formal is this weekend, so I have to finish it up so I can wear it! I've been working on this dress for about two months now. I'm very excited to finally wear it. I'll try to get around to posting pictures after this weekend.

Edit: My dress is DONE!!!!!!!!! Just in time too, because Spring Formal is tomorrow night! Trying to decide if I'm brave enough to wear the hoop skirt my friend loaned me, or if I'll just stick with my fluffy petticoat. The downside to the petticoat is that it causes the skirt to bunch in weird places, where the hoop skirt keeps it flat. But the downside to the hoop skirt is that this is modern day and I have to maneuver it in the car, during dinner, and while dancing. Not sure what I'm going to do yet...

Pictures of my completed Anna dress are in the costume thread, if you wanna check those out! Spring Formal was a blast. I got to dance to Let It Go because my friends requested it for me. 🙂 It was lots and lots of fun!
