Awwwww! She's /so/ cute. ^.^ I want a puppy now.
Cute puppy!!!
I still think Kristi's coin sort game is the best.
Yeah. 🙂 I just played that yesterday.
I can't believe it! I got all of them sorted! for the very first time! I am so excited!
Yay, Lil! I don't think I've ever managed that.
*Throws confetti!*
They might not need me but; they might.

A smile as small as mine might be
Precisely their necessity.

THE PUPPY IS SO CUTE!!!!
I missed his name, what's the puppy's name?
As for the page count talk, this thread will be refreshed once it reaches 100 pages.
Anyone have any good ideas for thread names?
Also we used to have a fresh chat thread every month, but I don't think we have enough posts anymore to justify that.
Oh I didn't say the puppy's name. But her name's Riley. 🙂
Riley is adorable. 🙂
Back from vacay - we ate so much fruit (mostly cherries). Delicious. We also toured an orchard and lavender farm, which was pretty awesome.
@Shi: I didn't think it was possible for a puppy to be cuter than mine. But I think Riley did it. O.O SHE IS SOOOO CUTE!
@Hobbi: Did you go where I think you went? The place with the mounds?
@Whoever was talking about the coin game: O.O I just got all of the coins. O.O I've never done that. O.O
@ Berry: Yes. How did you know??
Because we go there a lot...and it's the only Native American site in anywhere NEAR us. Because there is nothing near us. XD
While I was on my conference last week, we took off an afternoon to do a bit of "touring". I've never been to this part of the country so that was exciting. One option was a game reserve drive (which I can do anywhere in the country). The other was a tour of the Vredefort Dome, which is one of our World Heritage Sites and thought by geologists and others to be the centre of a massive meteorite impact crater (according to them, from millions of years ago). Taking the details with a grain of salt (whatever the truth behind it), it was still pretty fascinating learning about bits of geology, history, fauna and flora, and early and late human settlement in the area. We saw melted rocks, the inner "rim" of the crater and, most excitingly rock carvings of animals by early inhabitants (I was especially excited about the carvings cause rock paintings are plentiful in my area but I've never seen the older rock carvings). On the drive home we saw three giraffe by the fence in a reserve we were passing, so we scored on the animal front too. 😀
Once a daughter of Eve. Now a daughter of the Second Adam.
Ooh, that's cool. 🙂 Sounds fun.
That's awesome, Ajjie!
@Lil: I think a lot of the chatting has ended up in the shnooks thread.
@Ajjie: ooh, that sounds like fun! So cool you got to see all that. 😀
I have just finished showing My Mother and Dad my very favorite Period Drama, Persausion (2007) done by BBC. I am still a bit under it's spell. The music and the costumes, and all the colors. Anne is such a character after my own heart I love her so dearly.
