Yeah, I've been looking forward to Pan for a while ๐Ÿ˜€

Once a daughter of Eve. Now a daughter of the Second Adam.

War room? Yes, I wanted to see that, too. I was wondering if it might tend to lean some toward the corny side, but that's just jumping to conclusions.

Yay ๐Ÿ˜€ I think Pan looks a little bizarre, but I'm super interested in knowing the back story they came up withโ€”especially with Hook and Pan. (Not to mention my super excitement that Garrett Hedlund is Hook. Biggest reason probably why I even want to see it.)

Yay!

We were on our way to Nia's place, and we stopped in Texas to spend the night. We got to visit the Alamo, and the Riverwalk, and my Mom and Dad's old house, apartment, and church.

When we got into Nia's place, her sister met us at the door with a camera, and began snapping pictures. We were informed she would not stop until we screamed "Stoooop!!" We also met Nia's dogs, who talked to us before Nia did. Nia hid behind the door and O.Oed at us. Her sister and Mom welcomed us and escorted us in, and began the grand tour of their house.

I gave Nia the like... 20 books we bought for her, and the Turkish Delight, and they gave us presents. Nia made these INCREDIBLE crowns out of nail polish and wire o.O They were really cool! And they got us like... candy and journals and they got me stuff for my scrapbooking stuff! Nia knows me well ๐Ÿ˜›

Wednesday night we played a game of Narnian cubes, and then we all sat around and ate popcorn and watched The Silver Chair, BBC style. We cracked jokes and giggled, andthen her sister went to bed early.

Thursday we got up and Thatcher (sister's TLC name) made us a really yummy breakfast of biscuits and eggs and sausage. We all kinda stood around the table and stared at each other for a while, and then we sat down and ate. A little while after breakfast, Nia grabbed her bows and escorted us outside, where we shot arrows at a target while being strongly amused by her cat, who was playing in the grass. We were in our cloaks ๐Ÿ™‚

After a while we went inside and packed up to go beachifying with them ^.^ We were driving down a side road along the waterfront in the middle of nowhere and suddenly Nia's Mom decided to pull off on to the beach to let us stretch our legs. We pulled in aaaand immediately got stuck. She tried to get us out buuut only succeeded in driving us a little deeper into the sand ๐Ÿ˜› So we girls, excited to have an adventure, leaped out of the van happily. Thatcher tried to dig us out with her shovel (which she just happened to bring. I think she planned the whole thing). We couldn't get out so we called a tow truck. In the meantime, we girls ran down to the water and collected shells and sang and got epic pictures in our cloaks. Thatcher is an epic photographer. Also, I faceplanted in the sand.

Before the tow truck could arrive, a nice family in their SUV came up. They hooked us up to their vehicle and towed us out. While they were hooking us up, I signaled at a semi truck to honk for us ๐Ÿ™‚ He was a nice guy, and did. We blocked a WHOLE LANE OF TRAFFIC! It was a two lane road, and we were on the wrong side of the road. It was funny ๐Ÿ˜‰ Once we were out, we continued in route to our destination.

In order to get to our destination thing, we had to go on a ferry! So we got to drive on it, and we parked, and then we got out and ran to the front so we could watch the water. We got splashed a lot and it tasted nasty, so we decided to go up to the next level. It was SO WINDY. Our cloaks didn't want to let us /move/. We almost could have flown with that wind ๐Ÿ˜› It was almost impossible to move in! After a while we went back down, and enjoyed the front of the ship until it was time to get into our car and go again.

While on the island, we went to the beach again and collected more shells! Then we went to an oil mining museum, on board of a ship, and Thatcher and I pressed a lot of buttons and we took lots of pictures of stuff, and had a blast ๐Ÿ™‚ And then we got back on the ferry to head home. On the ferry, this time we were in the back, where all the seagulls were o.o Nia and I fed them! We held up pieces of bread and the gulls came and nabbed them right out of my hand. Thatcher got pictures of ALMOST the EXACT moment one of the gulls swooped down. Nia didn't want to, but finally I got her to. I think she had fun ๐Ÿ˜‰

On the way home, I got a headache so I curled up next to Nia and fell asleep on her shoulder. After we'd eaten a ridiculous amount of food, that is.

More later!
*hugs all and poofs to drive*

I forgot to mention... i drove on the way to Nia's house. I've only been driving out in my neighborhood... once, but Mom was falling aleep at the wheel. ๐Ÿ˜› So Iiiii woke up Mom by driving nearly 80 miles an hour down the highway. It was a ton of fun ๐Ÿ˜› Aaand I didn't wreck or anything o.o

Also, a funny thing on the way home with Nia -- because hitting my head against something relieves headache pain for me and a wall wasn't readily available, I also borrowed Nia's shoulder for that. I think she was /very/ amused.

Another thing we did was feed the cat and dogs. Hodgkins was a VERY good kitty, and would stand up and grab your arm (really high up) to get meat out of your hand ^.^ Elise just barked and barked and begged, and Cricket was the most ADORABLE CREATURE on the face of the earth o.o Maggie and Millie were equally cute, and Nori liked to run in circles and then charge me and drop and roll over in front of me. o.O I'm not sure if that means he was scared of me or what...

Anyway -- when we got home from beachifying and ferryfying, and what-not, we decided to go swimming, where I officially met my first wolf spider(s). (Unofficially I think I've seen a few.) The spiders liked to chill in the pool o.O We found several of them. Thatcher taught me the proper scientific use of a cone as a water gun (coney-things! who knew, right?), aaand we made lots of waves. We also had a canon ball contest. Nia won easily. She's really good at canon balls. o.O

When we came inside, Mrs. Niasmom had a roast with potatoes and carrots waiting for us. That was like the most delicious thing o.o And we enjoyed that. And then because we were all kinda tired, the rest of the girls chilled while Thatcher and I played music together. She can really play her harp! o.o She played some LotR and some Celtic stuff, and Someday from Esmerelda (or something). I gave her a copy of Waterfall, by Jon Schmidt, and I got to play it on their grand piano! It's so much easier to play on than our piano o.O Also, I played LotR on my flute while she played on her harp. It was epic and awesome.

We were going to do a noseflute quartet but forgot ๐Ÿ™

I'll tell you more later ๐Ÿ™‚ IIIIIII am gonna go CRASH O.O
