@Tenny: Whoa, wait, there's a Lewis Nature Reserve?! I'll try to do so. I need to see what the full itinerary is and then figure out what I'm doing on my "free day".
^.^ so exciting, Ariel 😀
If you're going to the Kilns, you're right at the Reserve... you /have/ to go. 😛
I'm going to youth camp this weekend 🙂 that'll be fun.
Ariel, that sounds amazing!!! When you are in Edinburgh make sure you see the castle! It's great. That was my favorite part of my trip there. My mom says to tell you to climb the Sir Walter Scott Monument. My mom went to school in Stirling, Scotland for a semester. She loves it there. Make sure you take lots of pictures!
*is lost; has no idea what they're babbling on about. Sits back on munches on popcorn*
@Tenny and Eowyn: I feel like I should be writing these down and seeing if they make it on the itinerary and such. 😆
@Dilly: I'm fairly lost too, only because I don't know about these things they're talking about. *grins*
😆 Hahaha! I only know because I've been there. 🙂
I'm learning how to make pysanky eggs for art class. They're really cool. Look up some pictures! I'll post pictures of mine when I finish them.
Last time I went to the Kilns, a friend of mine was staying there. She took me through the reserve (and we got lost :P), even though I'd been there once before. In fact it was kinda cool, since I ended up visiting the Nature Reserve my very first and last Sunday in Oxford. There's a horse paddock next to it; I tried to find out if they were talking horses, but couldn't get close enough. Oh, also make sure you phone ahead to the Kilns to book a tour.
And while I'm handing out Oxford advice, if you want to climb a tower to see the city skyline, go for the University Church of St Mary tower rather than Carfax. It has the best views in my opinion. Magdalen Tower is a pretty close second (it has better views of the outlying countryside), but I think you have to get a student of the college to accompany you. Also, see if you can fit in a visit to Worcester College. People don't realise, because it's not as pretty as Magdalen or some of the others from the outside, but it has the most beautiful gardens, lake and orchard, and a very unique and detailed chapel. If you're lucky, the daffodils might still be in bloom, and that's something worth seeing. I think tourist visiting hours are from 2-4pm. (Worcester's my college in case you hadn't realised) and they're celebrating their 300th anniversary this year.

Tee-hee-hee, I guess Ariel will have a full schedule. 😀
Wow, Engee, those pysanky eggs are really cool! I can't wait to see yours!
Well... today I did my first-ever dissection. 😀 My friend and her (four-year-old) sister came over and we ended up dissecting some squids. 😀
*grins* Yeah. We'll see what our organizer has planned (he should be emailing us the itinerary soon).
*is completely, totally and utterly lost. Wishes she had a map of the conversation right now...* 😀
Well, my sister and I are making good progress on our film. The script is finally (finally!!) coming together. We have two weeks to film, so hopefully we're gonna start this weekend. We have our props, our location, and the lab coat that I've been looking for forever. Thankfully my aunt happens to be a nurse and she had an old one. 🙂 I am gonna be so glad when we get this done!
Sounds fun, Engee!
*grins* Yeah. We'll see what our organizer has planned (he should be emailing us the itinerary soon).
Yeah, no pressure Ariel. I understand you'll be tight for time and have little control over things, but I just thought I'd add in my two cents (pence?) 😛

@Ajjie: I do thank you. I'll probably let him know some of the info you guys have given. And/or my group once we're there. 🙂
We got our film filmed!! Yay! It was challenging but fun. It's not our best movie, but we have some hilarious bloopers. 😀
