You have two of them right. It IS Shield's birthday AND TLaP Day. Which is beig celebrated by free donuts at Krispy Kreme if you.dress or talk like a pirate. Annnnyone know the third reason?
It's not writers' since I'm out of town. 😛
Is it your TLCversery? Or the day we got the site back?
Oh, so no Writer's.
You get free doughnuts by talking/dressing like a pirate??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *gasp* I'm going to try that if I can get my mom to take me to Krispy Kreme!
And I give up on the third one. I'm probably going to feel dumb when you mention what it is. 🙄 😛
You might not know, Hobbit!
It's ARCHIVIST DAY!
Ohhhhhhhhhh, okay. You're right; I didn't know that. 😛
Happy Archivist Day, everybody!
*cheers* it's the third annual day ^.^
A very merry archist day to me!
Thanks Nia 😀
I had no idea Archivist's Day existed. (I'm assuming this is in the library-world and such, not just on here 🙂 ) What exactly to archivers do, Tenny?
Hee. No. It's solely a TLC day. Solely.
We save logs and dates and threads and memories. Tes Precious we do
On the theme of archivist statistics; today marks exactly 4 years since I got into an aeroplane for the first tine and flew halfway around the world for my Oxford adventure. Can't believe how time has flown or that I shall be back there soon. 🙂
Once a daughter of Eve. Now a daughter of the Second Adam.
Wow, Ajjie! What an anniversary! 🙂
Four years? Really?
I feel old.
Yesterday, my family decided to take a drive to a small town that isn't so far from here. It's a lovely little town and was likely a French settlement at one point. Whilst perusing the area we came across a war monument. The statue was of a dough-boy surprisingly. I haven't seen any WWI memorials/monuments around here nor where I used to live, so it was something that caught my interest, especially because the inscription goes along with a fic I'm writing. 🙂
And, along those lines, I will be doing a research project for my German course and I'd like some ideas. It is supposed to be creative but informational, basically anything that /shows/ more than it tells (no slideshows or the like). Maybe give ideas of a presentation you'd personally like to see, I think that would be helpful. My topic is Christmas Truce, 1914.
