I think so far, my favorite silly song is School House Polka.

I love the Pants one and the staples one! My favorite is probably......Josh and the big wall. That one is hilarious every time we watch it I'm laughing every few seconds! 😆

My youth group recently had a VT marathon, and we watched most of the old ones - the very first ones. 😀
I don't know what my favourite episode is...probably Larry Boy and the Rumor Weed.

Although can we talk about the new character design?

Shield!! *pounces* I was thinking of you last week (or was it the week before?)!

You mean the new design that's been showing up on VT Facebook updates? *shudders* What is with it?! They look horrible!

VT has a new Netflix show and it's terrible. 🙁 The character's were drastically changed. *sigh*

I haven't either. *New VT hasn't appealed to her* My cousins showed me a preview for the new series and, yes, they all look so weird! The entire style of animation is completely different and my brother watched it (he loves VT as much as the next TLCer) and he said it was very weird and 'dumb'. :/ I think the creators of VT want their veggies to be as cool as other animated shows, which is just plain sad. I'll just stick with the older ones and let the new ones alone.

I think I big part of the change in VT (and not necessarily just in animation style) is that Big Idea was bought out a while ago. Which makes for weak and watered-down lessons (that moment when Beauty and the Beast does a significantly better job and the lesson of true beauty than Bible-quoting veggies...). And I think they're trying too hard to be funny now, appealing to little kids who are okay with dumb humour.

So very true. The newer ones never grew on me for that reason. I would watch some but my faves are all older.

Yes, I have to agree with all that's been said. Our church always shows the latest VT movie. We just did Beauty and the Beet, and I've been disappointed with all of the recent ones, so I was fairly impressed with this one. It doesn't capture the solid lessons like the old VT, but I think it did better than the other recent ones. My favorite of the newest movies would still have to be The League of Incredible Vegetables.

I definitely prefer the older episodes (even if the animation wasn't as good back then), because they relate to the Bible stories more directly....after BI was bought I think their quality of episodes went down.

(My opinion is the same for the Silly Songs too...)
