@Sil: i just didn't like it. it was terribly edited and had bad acting. and having a narrator made me feel like i couldn't connect with the characters...
so i tried watching Series of Unfortunate Events. i got about 7 minutes into it until i was bored and watched Road to El Dorado instead. xP
