On August 28th a surprise listing appeared on eBay offering the storyboards for a portion of an almost entirely unknown animated version of The Magician’s Nephew, which had been planned for production in the 80s following the success of the animated “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.” The film, with a screenplay by Douglas Lloyd McIntosh, sadly never came to fruition.

Most Narnia fans are unaware that any such film was ever intended. Indeed almost the only online references to be found are old scan of an article by The Episcopal News Service, dated February 1982 and a Google Books result to the screenplay itself.
