Two Chronicles of Narnia actors in audio drama production of In Freedom’s Cause

Thanks to Narniagirl11 for making us aware of this news bit.

Two cast members from the Walden Media film The Lion, the Witch, and the WardrobeΒ (2005) are playing characters in a soon-to-be-released audio drama of In Freedom’s Cause, a historical novel by G. A. Henty. (1) The story recounts the adventures of William Wallace and Robert Bruce during the War of Scottish Independence. (2) The project, produced by Bill Heid, features Skandar Keynes, who played Edmund in all three of the Walden Narnia films, and James Cosmo, who made his appearance in the land of Narnia as Father Christmas. James Cosmo will be playing the part of Sir Robert Gordon. Keynes will be playing the role of Sir Allan Kerr, one of the book’s antagonists. This character is said to be “A role not far removed from his pre-redemptive character in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe“. (3) The drama also features Billy Boyd, who played Pippin in The Lord of the Rings. The audio drama is due to be released some time in November.
